LIN TROUNCES LEE IN CORPORATION ELECTION
So reads the headline of the online edition of the YDN. Isn't life wonderful? Lee got fewer than 10,000 votes out of 50,000 cast by alumni. Voter turnout was over twice the usual rate. The "Rev" got a ridiculous amount of media attention and was endorsed by Senator Lieberman and Mayor DeStefano, but still couldn't get many more than 8,000 votes.

I don't know whether it's funny or sad that Lee is deciding whether or not to run for a seat again in the fall.
